Silent Warrior

The silent warrior

Resonates with compassion.

A warm, gentle smile

Passes over your lips.

Your enigmatic nature

Radiates with contemplation.

You constantly shift

As our projections came out.

Even in your absence

A presence remained.

Yet, we cried when you left,

Anger, confusion, and pain.

Your strength we will miss,

And your subtle wit.

Your beautiful smile,

And your gentleness.

May your journey

Be filled with success.

May you not wander far,

As we will always be here.

Go in peace my brave soldier.

Your hardships aren’t in vain.

The river will soon be calm,

And you will be home again.
