Not My Best Work…But It’ll Do

My projections you accepted

My apology, it came late.

The only time you retaliated,

I wished I’d cleaned the slate.

You are a noble person,

Your truth yet revealed.

I feel that I’ve seen so little of you

As you are slowly revealed.

I thank you for your river,

And I hope you see it as I do.

That you’re not as black and white,

But you have red, and purple, and blue.

I have seen your compassion

I only hope that I can compare

You’re able, and enlightened.

You’re almost there.

You are an admirable teacher

And I leave you with this:

Thank for your time,

And helping me create a catharsis.
